The Single Research Group license can be used by several users of the same lab. All license members/accounts have unlimited quotas. Study creation can be done collaboratively within the group only. The license must be used within a single research group / lab under a single Principle Investigator, external collaborators are not allowed to join the license.

The Departmental License can be used by Departments, Grant Consortia, or whole Universities with multiple research groups and two or more Principle Investigators. External collaborators are allowed to join the license. All license accounts have unlimited quotas. What type of support do I get when I purchase a license?
We are famous and proud of our outstanding support for everyone. However, the exact level of support depends on your license. Please schedule a demo so we can discuss more details and requirements.
Can I use Labvanced for free? Are there limitations?
Yes, you can use Labvanced completely for free but of course there are some limitations. Experiment creation will be unlimited and without any restrictions as long as you do not use more than 300MB of storage space. You can test-record as much as you want, but online recordings are limited to 1 every 3 days (max 10 per month). Further recordings will then be locked, but they can be unlocked for a fee. Joint experiment creation/collaboration and external data storage are not available in the free version, and study imports are limited to Labvanced studies/templates only.
Are there any additional costs apart from the license fees?
No, there are no further costs from our side. But of course you should consider a budget for paying your research participants.
Is there a trial period available to test the platform before committing to a license?
We have a free version that has almost the same set of features as the paid licenses. Only once you want to record data you need to make a decision regarding a license.
Are there discounts available for students?
Yes, we offer a 25% discount for undergraduate students.
Can I cancel my license and get a refund?
To give researchers financial planning security, we only sell licenses for a certain period of time or a fixed amount of recordings. These purchases are non-refundable.
