Overview
We partner with several subject recruitment / crowdsourcing platforms and will run the entire data colleciton
for you. Our current partners are Prolific, CloudResearch, Besample, and Clickworker. We not only recruit
participants for you, but we also keep monitoring the entire data collection process throughout (e.g. study
review & validation, data piloting, handling participant feedback, payments, subject balancing and more) to
make sure it runs smoothly and that you get exactly the data you need.
How does this work?
First, you have to calculate the amount of particiapnt hours you need for your study or over the course of
several studies, by simply multiplying the desired number of subjects by the average duration of your
experiment(s) in minutes and dividing by 60. You can use the calculator below to get an estimate. Then you can
choose the type of recruitment package you want to purchase. We offer three different packages, that come with
different benefits and prices. After the purchase you publish your study and then simply contact us so we can
start the recruitment process for you. We will keep a minute precise accounting of your remaining subject
recruitment balance. You can see this in your license page.
Subject Payments
Below we list the costs for recuiting subjects for you. The payout to subjects will vary depending on the
recruitment platform we use and the type of recruitment package you purchase. As subject payments are made by
Labvanced directly they are also determined by us. That said, we will always follow payment guidelines
provided by the respective recruitment platform and pay all subjects fairly for their time and effort.
Important Notes
Please read the details of each package carefully before making a purchase decision.
Not all packages are allowed for all types of studies and subjects to recruit.
Also note that subject recruitment packages must be used within 36 months / 3 years after purchase. Remaining
subject recruitment time will expire after this period without a refund. If you are unsure or have questions
